Our assets are characterized by concentrated acreage positions in the Eagle Ford Shale in East Texas and the Over-Pressured Cotton Valley in North Louisiana, with significant stacked pay upside potential and an extensive inventory of high rate of return wells.
- Eagle Ford: WRD has assembled the second largest Eagle Ford acreage position in the industry(1). We operate in Burleson, Brazos, Lee, Robertson and Washington Counties. The Eagle Ford Shale trends across Texas from the Mexican border north into East Texas and is roughly 50 miles wide and 400 miles long. Our acreage position consists of approximately 385,000 net acres positioned in the highly productive, liquids rich core.
- North Louisiana: Our acreage spans across Webster, Claiborne, Bienville, Lincoln, Jackson and Ouachita Parishes, where we are targeting overpressured Cotton Valley opportunities in multiple zones. The Cotton Valley formation has been under development since the 1930s and is characterized by thick, multi-zone natural gas and oil reservoirs with well-known geologic characteristics and long-lived, predictable production profiles. Our acreage position consists of approximately 104,000 net acres adjacent to the highly prolific Terryville Field.
